Lin Ken Tai. 1990. Another one that just happened one day. These two people aren't related to anything in a story, although I suppose I could invent one for them, or tie them into an existing one, if I tried hard enough. I think I just like people in close-up at one edge of the picture with vast landscapes stretching away behind them... The name "Lin Ken Tai" belonged to a pop group who were mentioned in passing in a computer game I wrote many years ago (I don't think I ever finished it). I never decided what sort of music they played or how many of them there were, but I suppose the thought must have been at the back of my mind that they could be a duo. Hence this picture, which might depict said group, and might even be one of their album covers. Which of them is the singer? You decide... The original is A4 landscape (about 11.5" by 8"), drawn in fibretip pen, with coloured pencil for the little bits of colour. At the time, I thought that technique was really cool. I'm sorry.
