These are some illustrations for The Times & Life of Lucifer Jones, an unfinished comic novel which you can read here. The "Source" links which appear here will take you to the point in the story where the picture belongs.

The story grew out of a radio series I wrote and produced when I was at university; the pictures are from posters I drew to promote it. Mostly they're fairly straightforward representations of whatever was happening in the story at some point I thought would make a good picture. I drew them with a fibretip pen and photocopied them for distribution. (That's why they're in black and white - I wasn't trying to make any kind of artistic statement, except maybe "I'm a near-penniless student who can't afford colour printing" ;-)
