Me and my girl. 1988. Give yourself an extra point for paying attention if you've figured out that the guy in this picture is a self-portrait :-) (And another two points for having a great imagination!) I drew this in a mirror, with my sketchpad resting on my calf. That's why my right hand is where it is. (And what else would it be doing there, hmm?) The girl is supposed to be my girlfriend of the time, but doesn't really look much like her, probably because she wasn't there when I drew the picture. As I recall, she was out of town, and I was missing her horribly - which was probably why I drew it. The original is about 21cm wide by 16cm tall (about 8" by 6"), drawn in fibretip pen on cartridge paper.
