Main characters from The Price of Hope. 1988.

A kind of study of (some of) the main characters from my fantasy novel The Price of Hope (see the fiction page). Back row, left to right: Levril, Yarith. Front row, left to right: Crow, Adramal, Heldarrn.

The original is A4 (about 8" by 11.5"), in rollerball pen, coloured pencils and artists' inks. The bright lines in the top left are there because I put the picture on the front of a ring binder, and covered it with sticky-backed plastic to protect it. Of course, the plastic didn't go on entirely smoothly - the bright lines are creases in it.
