The
Benchwatchers of Borehamwood
Before starting on the film, the team spent a couple of hours discussing
ideas. We decided early on that we wanted to do something silly, in a documentary
style. I wrote down the ideas as people suggested them and then went away
to write a script. I got this task because I'm generally acknowledged as
the best writer in the club. (Although also the one with the most warped
imagination ;-) Writing this script was fairly painless, since I had a
lot of good ideas to work with. It was just a matter of picking the ones
which I liked most (and which wouldn't be too hard to film).
